"Un Chien Andalou" (An Andalusian Dog) 
Riots at its premier caused the film to be banned for decades. Director Luis Buñuel’s underground sensation presents stark, surrealistic images including the slitting of a woman's eye and a dead horse being pulled along on top of a piano.

Guest speaker Oscar Arce, director of the Luis Buñuel Film Institute in Los Angeles will lead a discussion after the films. 2 hours free parking with validation in the Library parking garage.
