"The Venice Project"
Directed by Robert Dornhelm

Offsite, Botanical Lawn east of the Museum
Monday, 7:45 p.m.
Filmed during the 1999 Venice Biennale, this drama offers witty commentary on the role of art in society. Dennis Hopper and Lauren Bacall portray aristocratic siblings whose dying father has bequeathed the family's art collection to the Italian government, while flashbacks to the exploits of an ancestor 200 years earlier draw connections to ever-evolving theories of art.

This summer sit under the stars and enjoy a screening of the 1999 film "The Venice Project" (not rated) directed by Robert Dornhelm.
