San Diego jazz legend and world-class trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos fronts a salsa and Afro-Cuban music concert in conjunction with the annual One Book One San Diego reading campaign. He'll be joined on stage by some of Southern California's brightest musicians on the scene today - Tommy Aros (congas), Irving Flores (piano), Charlie Chavez (timbales), and Omar Lopez (bass).
Get ready for an exciting and high-energy musical salute to Tito Puente, Cal Tjader, Mongo Santamaria, Chano Pozo and Tito Rodríguez, just to name a few!
