Take a photography workshop from the California Native Plant Society! Professional photographer Phil Roullard will teach you the skills you need to take high-quality photos of flowering plants for documentation and personal enjoyment.

We will spend part of the time in a classroom setting learning technical photography skills, including how to obtain proper exposure and composition, and we will venture outdoors into Balboa Park to practice those skills and learn hands-on.

This 2-day workshop, Feb. 25-26, will be a small class of no more than 12 participants, so you will have plenty of one-on-one learning time with Phil. Pre-registration is required. Whether you want to improve your skills or just enjoy photography, you'll be certain to leave fully prepared to document those gorgeous spring California wildflower blooms! All skill levels welcome.

Dates and times of events are subject to change without notice. Always check the event organizer's website for the most updated schedule before attending. Check local COVID-19 restrictions and updates.
