'LOW' Exhibition Celebration

Join us for a musical evening to celebrate the conclusion of our special exhibition “LOW: The Power and Beauty of Bass.” Guests will be treated to wine and cheese while getting one last look at the exhibition. Then join us for a concert featuring some of San Diego’s top “low-register” musicians. The exhibition is included with regular museum admission: $7 - $10.

Besos de Coco
This innovative and eclectic chamber group includes double-bassist Evona Wascinski, tap-dancer Claudia Gomez Vorce, and classical guitarist/vocalist Lorraine Castellanos.

A Hundred Ghosts
Elegant time distortion, featuring Ariana Warren (bass clarinet) and Chris Warren (Novax 8-string guitar/bass hybrid).

Michael Kennedy & Friends
Bassist Michael Kennedy returns for a performance highlighting the importance of the bass guitar in popular music. Experience familiar tunes with and without bass.
