One Book, One San Diego 10th Anniversary Kick-Off Event With Author Carlos Eire

Join KPBS as we kick-off our 10th Anniversary celebration with 2016 featured author, Carlos Eire, who wrote "Waiting for Snow in Havana." Guests will enjoy a special interview with Carlos Eire by Dr. Dean Nelson, founder and director of the journalism program at Point Loma Nazarene University, in Neil Morgan Auditorium.

The presentation will be followed by a book signing and Cuban-inspired reception in the library's courtyard with complimentary refreshments from Andre's Restaurant, and live music by Saoco Son.

Copies of Carlos Eire's books, as well as all past One Book, One San Diego selections, will be for sale by the Library Shop.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Event begins at 6 p.m.
