The 12th Annual San Diego Student Shakespeare Festival brings an afternoon of performance, theater and art to Balboa Park.

Organized by the San Diego Shakespeare Society, it features teams of students from city and county schools performing 10-minute scenes from Shakespeare on outdoor stages along the El Prado pedestrian promenade.

There is a Grand Procession and Opening Ceremony at noon in front of the Botanical Garden. This event is free and everyone is invited to watch.
