THIS EVENT IS IN THE PAST!
Moscow Ballet's "Great Russian Nutcracker" celebrates its 25th anniversary of touring North America.
This traditional show is known for for its award-winning principal dancers, lavish costumes in the style of the Victorian era, backdrops created by “La La Land" Set Concept designer Carl Sprague, and its Russian focus including life-sized Matryoshka Dolls, Russian folk legends Ded Moroz (Father Christmas) and Snegurochka (Snow Maiden) and Troika Sleigh.
It also includes touches of special effects like a flapping winged owl on the Grandfather clock, a Christmas tree that grows 50 feet tall, and a Dove of Peace with a 20-foot wingspan.
This year there will be two performances, for additional details call (619) 235-0804.
