Bloomsday 2018: Readings From 'Dubliners'

Join us for the international Bloomsday celebrations of Irish writer, James Joyce and his great novel "Ulysses" with stage readings of stories from Joyce's "Dubliners" short story collection performed by Write Out Loud.

Hailed as one of the very best short story collections in English, Joyce wrote "Dubliners" in the early 1900s at the heights of Irish nationalism against British colonialism and a search for Irish national identity.

Bloomsday is observed annually on June 16, when Joyce fans around the world open a book, raise a pint, and relive the events in "Ulysses," which take place on a single day on June 16, 1904.

Dates and times of events are subject to change without notice. Always check the event organizer's website for the most updated schedule before attending. Check local COVID-19 restrictions and updates.
