Water has long been a favorite theme of artists, poets and composers throughout the ages and crossing bodies of water is a primary functions of many bridges throughout the world.

SACRA/PROFANA will be performing music with themes of water and bridges by some of the most important composers of the last 100 years. Joining them will be several of the exceptional student participants of our 2017 Summer Choral Intensive.

While choral music is relatively late to the game, there are a number of stunning choral pieces with water as a thematic element.
