The Human Library

Don't miss our second Human Library at the San Diego Central Library!

The aim of the Human Library is to explore and move beyond stereotypes, and learn more about each other through stories.

During the event, patrons will have the opportunity to check out human “books” to read through one-on-one 20-minute conversations.

Registration is required. Space is limited. Registrants will be provided instructions on how to reserve time slots to check out our Human Books.

Library contact: (619) 236-5800

This event is part of our programming for this year's One Book, One San Diego where we will explore themes of civil rights, social justice, and discrimination.

The 2018 One Book, One San Diego selections are "March: Book One" by Congressman John Lewis, Andrew Aydin and Nate Powell and "Blue Sky, White Stars," by Sarvinder Naberhaus and illustrated by Kadir Nelson.

Dates and times of events are subject to change without notice. Always check the event organizer's website for the most updated schedule before attending.
