Distinguished Speaker Series Launch With Nathan Fletcher

The La Jolla Community Center announces an exciting line-up of speakers who will present remarks on topics related to politics, science, medicine, climate change, and cancer prevention from August through December 2019.

The series will kick-off on Tuesday, August 13 when San Diego County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher discusses issues relevant to our community including his focus on environmental issues and alternative modes of transportation such as biking.

The presentations are free to the public and will be held on the second Tuesday evening of the month starting in August, with the exception of October’s event, which is slated for Tuesday, October 15.

The events will include a reception from 5-6 p.m. and the lecture and Q&A from 6-7 p.m. Registration is required - call (858) 459-0831.
