Meeting we will be focusing on knowing your rights -- just cause eviction protections and code enforcement.

Speaker: Parisa Ijadi-Maghsoodi, the attorney who represented San Diego Tenants United against the City of Encinitas over the city’s failure to enact a state-mandated housing element.

The San Diego Tenants Union seeks to create opportunities for low-income City Heights residents to learn about their rights as tenants, become resident leaders, have access to legal guidance to remediate conflicts with landlords and advocate for city-wide changes in housing policy.

Date and Times:
- Friday, Jan. 14
- 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Our mission is to implement knowledge of tenant rights in underrepresented communities by training members in planning, organizing and mobilizing through popular education to create change in housing policy.

Dates and times of events are subject to change without notice. Always check the event organizer's website for the most updated schedule before attending.
