Due to public demand, this expanded day-long retreat is dedicated to breathing new vitality into life with renewed commitment and blueprint for intentional living and self-care.

Join experts Julie Potiker and Micole Noble who are generously donating their time to support The Ship’s Living Classroom Program:

This proven outreach program combines cultural and natural science content with art and food infused with outdoor exploration and nature discovery activities. This program is designed to encourage the values of sharing food, reducing food waste and creating a greater connection with the land and waters we depend on. The program will focus first on outreach serving local the Kumeyaay tribal communities employing and emphasizing the values of culinary arts and cooking practices to enhance public awareness of food sovereignty. Food Sovereignty is the right of people to healthy and culturally appropriate food produced through ecologically sound and sustainable methods, and the right to define their own food and agriculture systems. Food sovereignty begins with mindfulness and reestablishing a sacred relationship with food and an interdependent relationship with the planet and each other.
