Digital Self Defence: How To Keep Politically Active Women Safe Online

Who's this training workshop for?

Are you a woman involved in grassroots campaigns or a woman with political ambitions yet the fear of online abuse is preventing you from taking the next step forward? Is the toxicity on social media yet another barrier for you to take your rightful space? Are you a woman needing support to set boundaries and make digital spaces better serve you and your career ambitions? Then this one hour free online workshop is for you!

About this training workshop

Sadly, evidence shows that politically active women are more likely to be harassed online, and this is even worse for women of colour, disabled and LGBT+ communities. The fear of online harassment is causing an exodus of women to leave and not be able to take up their rightful space both online and in democracy. Alongside campaigning for both government and tech to implement systematic change we at Glitch are passionate about equipping women, as digital citizens, to flourish online safely through our training workshops.

About Us

Glitch is a small charity championing everyone's right to be online safely without discrimination, abuse and violence. Glitch has trained thousands of people across the world in education, government institutions and workplaces to highlight online abuse as a global problem and encourage action from everyone.
