House of Ukraine Presents Storytellers of San Diego - Stories To Delight And Chew On
The Storytellers of San Diego join with House of Ukraine, Balboa Park,
to collaboratively produce a summer afternoon lawn program of stories with music, live and family-friendly.
This unique program fits the description of traditional, urban storytelling, no notes, Moth-style, with professional solo and tandem storytellers. Story fare will be culled from world folktales, personal experiences, hybrid tales, and a literary tale or two.
Telling stories is our human birthright, and it is said that storytelling is the original social media. Storytelling has the humor and pathos of theater with
the intimacy of a good conversation.
Featured performers are: Dr. Almena Lowe Mozon, Aunt Li-Anne, Fred Laskowski, Marilyn McPhie, Mindy Donner, OJ Mozon, Jr., the Patchwork Players: Patti Christensen and James Nelson-Lucas, Rachel Amov, violinist, and surprise guests.
When: August 06, ’22, 2:00pm – 3:30pm
Where: Lawn area in front of House of Ukraine, Balboa Park
Fees: Free-of-charge to the public.
