43rd Annual Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-off Returns 

Join more than 50,000 visitors for three stages of continuous music, two community mural projects, Artist Alley featuring local artisans and crafters, food and merchandise vendors, a Seaside Family Fun Zone, Chili Cook-Off, and more.

The Beachside Beer Garden will be rockin’ all day for guests 21+ to enjoy an ice-cold brew or cocktail with an ocean view. It will be located next to the main stage with live music for guests of all ages to enjoy. The Hodad’s burger eating contest and OB Dirty Birds Wing eating contest will take place mid-day on the main stage. The Seaside Family Fun Zone offers inflatables, games, The Original Rad Hatter, and a place to relax and enjoy the music.

The Chili Cook-Off features awards for Hottest Chili, Judges’ Award, and the Grand Prize: People’s Choice Award. Featuring amateur and restaurant divisions, chili entries can be tasted for $2, or attendees can purchase a Master Ticket for $25 and sample every recipe to vote for their favorite.

The OB Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off is Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the 4800-5000 blocks of Newport Avenue, along the waterfront. Free parking is available at the Sun Runner parking lot located on Sea World Drive at Pacific Coast Highway. Trolley services will run from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. There is also a free bike valet at the intersection of Bacon Street and Newport Avenue.
