Local Libraries Reopening

On Saturday Oct. 3, 12 San Diego city libraries will be opening for limited indoor services.

The locations reopening are Carmel Valley, Central, College-Rolando, La Jolla, Logan Heights, Mira Mesa, Mission Hills-Hillcrest, Mission Valley, Point Loma, Rancho Bernardo, San Ysidro and Valencia Park/Malcolm X.

Services include computer use, printing and book pickups.

4 locations, Central, San Ysidro, Skyline Hills and Valencia Park/Malcolm X have outdoor patios with free wifi and rentable laptops.

Libraries will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday. The libraries will close daily for cleaning from 1 - 2 p.m.

COVID safety procedures include 25% capacity indoors, face masks are required and temperature checks upon entry.
