During this time of uncertainty, it is crucial that children in foster care have someone ensuring their needs are met and that our courts have someone they trust who can alert them if a child is in danger or has critical needs.

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers, trained and supported by Voices for Children, are working hard to ensure youth don’t fall through the cracks during these unprecedented times. While CASAs aren’t able to meet with youth in person, they continue to build and maintain relationships with youth and support children during their time in foster care.

In addition, CASAs continue to write and submit court reports, sharing vital information on which our judges rely to make the most informed decisions for children’s futures. Time and again, we are seeing how CASAs are the crucial link between our youth and the various professionals and resources that make up our children’s support networks.
