Alison St John (Guest Host): Elizabeth Gilbert was a woman in crisis when she had her first conversation with God. It happened on the bathroom floor. Those few words began her spiritual journey, out of a marriage she didn't want to be in, a life she didn't feel she belonged to and a profound depression.

In her new book, Eat, Pray, Love , Elizabeth Gilbert takes us on a delicious travel odyssey, in which she honors first the pleasure of the material world in Italy, then dives into the depth of the spiritual search in India, and finally combines the transcendent and the mundane in Indonesia.
