Blindness Gets Another Thumbs Up From Teen Critic

Gael Garcia Bernal stars in Blindness (Miramax)

By Darrin Buchanan

Blindness (opened October 3 throughout San Diego) is a film like no other. It's not a horror film but it's scary to see what life would be like if every single one of us was blind. In Blindness , Julianne Moore plays "the doctor's wife;" she lives in a world were everyone becomes blind but her. At first it's just a select few and they are taken to a building and are held essentially captive. Most of the movie takes place inside the builing. In the building the blind seperate into four differnt groups; each group has their own goverment. They stuggle with food between the groups and due to frustration, things descend into chaos. Eventually the whole world turns blind, but for some reason the doctor's wife still isn't blind. I didn't like how you don't know how people are becoming blind and where the illness is even coming from, or even why she doesn't go blind. If you want to see a movie like no other then this will be a great movie to watch. I really enjoyed this film and the creativty it has. It's a film like no other.

I could say that I didnt understand the review... But then again reviews could never be close too the movie. I have to say that i have to see the movie to understand this review. In the parts that i did understand, well i have to say that peolpe do get scared in life and i know how that feels, it's an everyday thing. But it is more terrifying knowing that theres only one person blind in the world

In your review i have to say I agree with ronald some parts did not make sense. You should have given more background to the movie for us to understand. I don't agree with what ronald said it didn't quit make sense.

Your revieew was a positive review but yet for some reason it makes me not want to see the movie. I understood everything/ most things you were saying but you should have given more examples as to why this was a good movie since you liked it. You have a few grammer mistakes and that also messes up your review. It makes the reader think that you didn't take your time to read your writing. If it's going to be posted on the internet and thousands, possibly millions of people are going to be reading your review, then it needs to be perfect. I apologize for the negative comments but they will only help you in the future.

I liked Darrin's review. I haven't the movie but i want to watch it due to his detail review. I totally agree on his view of life and how he expresses it. i would hate to live in a world where everyone is blind.

I would have to agee with Samantha Rae Payne about how Darrin makes the movie interesting to watch, but at the same time it is a little confusing.

I disagree with Samantha Rae Payne because this review didn't make the movie all that interesting but made it seem really confusing.

this movie does sem quiet interesting because its not only about being creepy but to think what life would be and also shows you not to disregard life or to take what you have for granted i agree with jamaica but also on the other hand it shows that he was just interested in telling everyone what he thinks this might be grammar mistake but to show the opinion of this film but very nice job
