Stimulus Money Direct Deposits Coming This Week, Paper Checks Will Arrive In May

The stimulus money is part of the $2 trillion stimulus package passed by Congress in response to the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on the economy. The goal of the individual stimulus payments is to get the money quickly circulating in the battered economy.

Millions of Californians should see stimulus money from the federal government in their bank accounts this week.

Others who are eligible but the IRS doesn't have their banking information, will be mailed a check beginning in May.
