The Observatory

Observatory North Park hosts local and national touring bands like Morrissey, Paul Weller, Tame Impala and many more.

Depending on the show, the venue ranges from admitting all ages to 21 and over.

Most events are open to all ages. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult over the age of 25 with written authorization.

To inquire about VIP balcony tables, please contact VIP@ObservatorySD.com. Enjoy the best views in the house where we now serve specialty cocktails, bottle service and delicious food.

Dinner and drinks are available at our connected restaurant, West Coast Tavern. Happy hour every day from 4-6 p.m. The kitchen is open until midnight every day.

Parking is available at the parking structure directly across the street from us on 29th St. Your ticket fee includes validation for the parking structure, which is redeemable at the venue.

Grizzly Bear

  • Today, 8 p.m.
  • Indie rock favorite Grizzly Bear is an experimental band led by singer Edward Droste. Their lush music translates to a live stage thanks to projections, layered harmonies and performing a variety of unconventional instruments. Grizzly Bear's best-known album is the elaborate "Veckatimest," released in 2009. This all-ages concert features Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith as the opening act. Read more
