Pandas Mate at San Diego Zoo

Alan Ray (Guest Host): The World Wildlife Fund estimates there may be as few as 1,600 giant pandas left in the wild. They live in China and they've been dying there because of habitat degradation and poaching. There are captive panda breeding programs around the country, including one here in San Diego. Two of the Pandas at the San Diego Zoo recently did mate, but that may not assure offspring.
