Assistant News Producer/Penner Fellowship
The KPBS Penner Fellowship helps grow the next generation of public media journalists. Each year, the station selects one journalist who is recently graduated, in their final year of college, or is an early career professional, to join our news team for a 6-12 month long producing opportunity on KPBS Evening Edition and KPBS Roundtable. The selected fellow will work 20 hours per week and receive minimum wage. This position is open through October 1, 2019.

Temporary Freelance Motion Graphics Broadcast Designer
Help KPBS in the design and execution of electronic broadcast graphics for programs, program and image promotion and non-broadcast video projects. As a member of our production team, you'll work to create the overall “look” for assigned projects creating unique, up-to-date 2D and 3D design concepts and/or animation appropriate to the project and in line with our brand. This position is open through October 10, 2019.

KPBS News Editor (Temporary)
Lead our team in accountability-driven coverage, with a mix of thought-provoking stories as well as fresh explainers that teach our audience something new. This position is being filled on a temporary basis with an expected end date of October 31, 2019.
