It's been back to back presidential nominating conventions for the past two weeks.   But things are winding down.  As the world now knows, the Democrats nominated Barack Obama and Joe Biden in Denver, and the Republicans have named John McCain and Sarah Palin.

Joining us on Morning Edition is KPBS political correspondent Gloria Penner is beginning her final day on convention watch in St. Paul with our local Republican delegates.
