Chargers Anxiously Await Reports on Stadium Sites
Tom Fudge: The San Diego Chargers want a new stadium, and the mayor of San Diego has said that the city is too financially troubled to work with the team to replace Qualcomm stadium. That has caused the Chargers to seek greener pastures in suburban San Diego County. At this point, Chula Vista and Oceanside are in negotiations with the Chargers to find a place for a new stadium. Soon, we are expecting to hear about consultants reports, examining the three sites that the team is seriously considering. One site is in Oceanside and two are in Chula Vista.
