Lawmakers Say UC Legislature Needs Accountability

The University of California system is out of control because administrators are getting high salaries during the state's budget crisis, according to Democratic Senator Leland Yee.
Some State lawmakers want to make the University of California more accountable to the legislature.
Democratic Senator Leland Yee has written a bill to allow the legislature to pass bills directly affecting UC policies. Right now, they don't have that authority because UC is protected under the constitution
