Teachers here in San Diego and across California are bracing for the Governor's revised budget proposal due out today. They are hoping the new budget avoids the worst-case scenario of more deep cuts to school districts across the state.
Last week, teachers rallied in major cities across California. They are trying to pressure legislators to support Governor Brown's plan to extend taxes to close a 15 billion dollar state budget deficit.
