Two Marines Killed In Helicopter Crash On Camp Pendleton

A helicopter crash on Camp Pendleton has killed two people, according to the Associated Press.

Sgt. Sean McGinty of Marine Air Station Miramar said in an official statement that the AH-1 Cobra went down around 1:00 this afternoon. The helicopter was part of the 3rd Marine Aircraft wing, which is based at MCAS Miramar.

According to the Camp Pendleton Fire Department Facebook page, the crash started a vegetation fire.
