Financial cuts are forcing the closure of three Camp Pendleton community centers. Abby Reinke, San Onofre, and Stuart Mesa Community Centers will close their doors in September.
According to the Marine Corps Community Services Camp Pendleton webpage, Abby Reinke will close September 7, and both San Onofre and Stuart Mesa will shut their doors on September 30.
The folks at the Abby Reinke Community Center wrote on Facebook:
We will all sincerely miss being a part of this wonderful community and will look forward to seeing you all around the base. You have been wonderful to us and we have loved being your community center!
