Fox News Reveals Identity Of Navy SEAL Who Wrote Bin Laden Book (Video)

Fox News Outs Navy SEAL

Fox News has outed the Navy SEAL who wrote a book under a pseudonym about taking part in the mission to kill Osama Bin Laden.

The book, called “No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission That Killed Osama bin Laden,” was written under the pen name Mark Owen. Fox News has now identified Owen's true name as Matt Bissonnette. The Associated Press has confirmed this, stating:

One current and one former U.S. military official confirmed the name, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss military personnel matters.

Bissonnette, 36, is a retired member of Navy SEAL Team 6. His book is set to be released on September 11.

What do you think of Fox News' decision to reveal the true identity of this Navy SEAL?
