Silver Star for San Diego Marine Drill Instructor

Home Post Blog: The Marine Corps on Friday will award Sgt. Philip A. McCulloch Jr. the Silver Star Medal for his heroic actions in Afghanistan. The 22-year-old is currently a drill instructor at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego.

The award ceremony is slated for this Friday at 10 in the morning. It will take place in the Pendleton Hall courtyard at MCRD San Diego. (read more)
