In a long-neglected urban San Diego neighborhood, redevelopment has become a true neighborhood project. On the site of an abandoned aerospace factory, a new business and cultural plaza has been built by the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation. And now, people who live, work or volunteer in the area are investing in Market Creek Plaza through a historic initial public offering. Host Gloria Penner talks about this unique community-building effort with Jennifer Vanica, the president and CEO of Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation.
