In a long-neglected urban San Diego neighborhood, redevelopment has become a true neighborhood project. On the site of an abandoned aerospace factory, a new business and cultural plaza has been built by the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation. And now, people who live, work or volunteer in the area are investing in Market Creek Plaza through a historic initial public offering.
