Growing concerns over lack of migrant farm workers

California farmers say their fall harvests are beginning to accelerate, but their numbers of farm workers are not. Growers in some counties report financial losses due to the lack of migrant farm workers.

Luwanna Hallstrom is an Oceanside farmer who chairs the state farm bureau's labor advisory committee.

In a message made available by the farm bureau today, Hallstrom says labor shortages are mounting all across the state.
