Gently Falling San Diego Gas Prices May Rise Again Come July 4

San Diego's gasoline prices are down again, but the downward trend may be over. The Utility Consumer's Action Network tracks gas prices at hundreds of stations in the county. U-CAN's Charles Langley says the average price of a gallon of gas is now at $3.13.

However, Langley says the price drops may be over because the Fourth of July is only two weeks away.

Langley : Well, you know. It is the second great gouging season of the year. Usually we get the worst and the hardest right before Memorial Day and then we'll see an uptick before July 4. Hopefully, we won't see the stomach-lurching 20-to-30 cent a gallon increases that we've seen at other times of the year.

Langley says U-CAN's fuel tracker website has identified more than 50 gas stations that are selling regular gas below $3 per gallon.
