Sunroad Latest, Bank of Wal-Mart, Sewage Treatment
Friday, June 22, 2007
This week, San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders issued a stop work order for the Sunroad office building project near Montgomery Field. Will this bring the controversy to rest, or could we be on the heels of another scandal at City Hall?
Also, Wal-Mart announced it will greatly expand the financial services offered at its stores. Who will benefit from the "Bank of Wal-Mart"?
And, Mayor Sanders delayed making an announcement about the possibility of upgrading San Diego's main sewage treatment plant. Should the Mayor seek a renewal of a federal waiver from secondary treatment standards?
