Local media reports say a man was stabbed at Camp Pendleton early this morning. Paramedics airlifted the man by helicopter to Scripps La Jolla Hospital.
According to San Diego television station KFMB-TV, the man was stabbed in the neck and lost an "extensive" amount of blood.
It's still not clear if the man who was stabbed was a Marine.
