As the economy worsens, many Americans are facing the prospect of losing their health insurance. Is universal healthcare the answer? KPBS and the CBC have teamed up to compare the U.S. style of heal

Maureen Cavanaugh : As the number of people losing jobs in this recession grows, the number of people without health insurance is bound to grow with it. More uninsured people may increase the pressure on Congress and the Obama administration to do something about America's health care system.

The President says he wants to move toward universal health coverage, and aides say President Obama is getting ready to outline his specific health care proposals, as early as tonight, during his address to Congress.
