About Romeo and Juliet,

Somewhere, in the middle of the night, I woke up. Not at all unusual, it happens all the time, so I looked for something on TV to put me back to sleep and I clicked on a ballet on KPBS, thinking perfect, just the thing – but oh how wrong I was!

Wanting so much to be bored so that I could go back to sleep, the total opposite happened – I could not stop watching, I was totally captivated. The casting, I cannot even imagine how, could have been any more perfect, and it was so meaningfully enlightening to see Leslie’s interviews at intermission, well, I just don’t know what more I can say other than to thank you for giving me the privilege, no, more than that, for giving me a veritable feast, not only to my eyes, but to my soul.

Thank you,
