Fallen Marine Killed In Afghanistan Returns Home Today

The body of Lance Cpl. Anthony J. Denier, 22, was returned to his hometown of Mechanicville, New York today.
Denier was killed in Afghanistan on December 2nd while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan, according to the Department of Defense.
Denier was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 9th Marines, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
According to the Albany-based newspaper The Daily Gazette, funeral services for Denier will be held Tuesday, followed by burial with full military honors at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
