Two Camp Pendleton Marines were arrested for allegedly shooting out the windows of several Laguna Beach businesses and vehicles this past weekend, according to the Orange County Sheriff's arrest log.

Orange County Sheriff's Department Spokesman Jim Amormino told the Laguna Beach Coastline Pilot that deputies arrested Joseph Nahale, of Fremont, California and Jesse Ivie of Gresham, Oregon on suspicion of felony vandalism and shooting into an occupied vehicle. Both Nahale and Ivie are 20-years-old.

Amormino said the alleged activities of Nahale and Ivie came to the attention of deputies after the window of an occupied vehicle was shot at:

A woman was resting in the back of her vehicle at Crown Valley and Coast Highway late Saturday night when she was awoken by shots through her vehicle... Her rear window and far back window were shot out. The woman told authorities that she believed the suspects drove a red Ford Explorer.

The Pilot reports the Marines may have used BB guns purchased earlier in the day from WalMart. Amormino says there may be as many as two dozen victims of the car and business vandalism.
