The Los Angeles Chargers have announced that they sold out their season tickets for the 2017-18 season. That means there are no tickets left, aside from the mandatory ticket holds that go to players' families, the opposing team and the like.
The erstwhile San Diego Chargers will be playing their first season in LA. And if it seems strange that a team venturing into a brand new market is totally sold out, keep in mind where the Chargers will be playing.
All season tickets currently available for sale at StubHub Center for 2017 have sold out.

The StubHub Center in Carson, home of the LA Galaxy soccer team, holds only about 30,000 fans. That's less than half of San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium capacity.
The San Diego Union-Tribune reports the last time the Chargers sold fewer than 30,000 season tickets was 1977. Average attendance at Qualcomm was 57-thousand last season, and that was the lowest average attendance in many years.
The Chargers will play in Carson until 2019, when they move into a new stadium being built in Inglewood that they'll share with the Los Angeles Rams.
