Proposition 84 aims to clean up beaches and water supplies
Proposition 84 is a new bond measure that is meant to protect California’s water supply and to clean up lakes, rivers and coastal waters. The Legislature failed to get the two-thirds majority it needed to put the bond on the ballot. But it qualified for the ballot anyway, thanks to a petition-gathering campaign.
