Army Spc. Kyle R. Rookey, 23, died September 2nd, in Jalalabad, Afghanistan from a non-combat related incident, according to the Department of Defense.
No specifics as to the cause of death were released.
Rookey was from Oswego, New York. He was assigned to the 4th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division in Fort Carson, Colorado.
