Paul Ieti Sings One Direction Song On America's Got Talent

Did you catch Army Pfc. Paul Ieti's live performance Tuesday night on "America's Got Talent"? The singing soldier attempted to wow the judges with his rendition of the One Direction ballad "You & I."

Ieti wrote on his Facebook page that he spent the week rehearsing for his live TV appearance, shot at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

According to the Army Times, Tuesday night's show was the third of four quarterfinals:

Twelve acts will take the stage, with five advancing to the semifinals. Viewers will be given a phone number to call during the show to cast their ballots, or they can vote at www.nbc.com/americas-got-talent/vote.

As Home Post previously reported, Ieti was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012, where he would soothe his soul and entertain his fellow soldiers with his singing voice.

The producers of "America's Got Talent" took note of Ieti's talent on his YouTube channel, and offered him an audition on the show's current season.
