If you are like most people and do not have a Comic-Con badge, check out the Comic-Con Museum in Balboa Park.

The museum will be open from Thursday through Sunday and admission is free. Inside is the "Batman Experience," which celebrates the Dark Knight as the museum's first character hall-of-fame inductee.

The museum has one of the largest exhibits of Batman comics, props, costumes and vehicles ever assembled, said Comic-Con officials. There is even a virtual reality skydiving experience.

"This is that opportunity for the broader public that maybe has not been able to get to Comic-Con to come and get a taste of what it’s all about," said Comic-Con Museum Executive Director Adam Smith. "In terms of highlights I’d say the whole things a highlight — we’ve got 68,000 feet of activated space."

Comic-Con said it is expecting as many as 15,000 people a day to visit the museum. And like Comic-Con at the convention center, it will have panels going on throughout the weekend.
