The Rosin Box Project Presents: Ghost Light Masquerade

San Diego's Premier Contemporary Ballet Company, The Rosin Box Project presents its hauntingly popular annual immersive performance: Ghost Light Masquerade June 2-5, 2022 at 8p.m., LIVE from Bread & Salt Art Gallery in Barrio Logan!

This imaginative ballet performance sets a traveling stage and invites audiences to embark on a captivating journey into the world of theater superstitions. Using chilling riddles about the lore that give the theater its mystical quality, and a series of vignette dances to drive the experience as a narrative, audiences move along through this haunting world that both the Spirits and the Living call home. There are no seats in this show. Dancers and audiences occupy the same space, blurring the lines between reality and the magical realm of the theater.

Guests enter this immersive performance only by way of a secret password, and once inside, are given their very own Ghost Light Masquerade Participant Mask to wear during the show, and keep as a memory of the night. Guests can move about the performance space freely, stay wrapped up in the magic, or choose to step out and enjoy a drink from the bar at any time.

Ghost Light Masquerade is performed at Bread and Salt, an indoor/outdoor art gallery space in Barrio Logan. Walk, explore, and dance the night away in this wickedly delightful immersive experience.

A 360 Virtual Streaming version of Ghost Light Masquerade is also available for viewing online June 24 - July 1, 2022. The show is filmed using a 360 degree camera that lets viewers move their phone or tablet and point it in any direction, gaining an immersive virtual perspective of the dancers and all the mischief they cause.
