  • Sherlock Jr.: Buster Keaton's classic silent film featuring live music by the Hausmann QuartetThe Central Library's new Cinema + Sound Series returns with a showing of Buster Keaton’s classic silent comedy Sherlock Jr. with Stephen Prutsman’s musical score. Steve says he has written music that is “reflective in some way of the time the film was made, and the environment of the film itself… I used a language that would have been appropriate at that time, with lots of jokes and gags, and punch points directly connected to the visuals.”The Hausmann Quartet will be joined by pianist Denys Shramko for this performance.NR | 45 minutes | 1924Visit: https://sandiego.librarymarket.com/event/hold-picture-thiscinema-sound-series-395830
