In a briefing at the Pakistani embassy in Washington on Monday, an unnamed official told reporters that it was "time to put the whole sordid A.Q. Khan business behind us."
He was referring to the nuclear proliferation activities of the Pakistani scientist A.Q. Khan. Pakistan believes the 2004 case is holding back its relationship with the U.S.
